LET THE REDEEMED SAY SO

Psalms 107:1-3

¹Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!²Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble³and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

Exposition

Sometimes gratitude stays quiet because life feels ordinary, busy, or unfinished. We may know God has been good, but we move on quickly to the next concern. We remember what still needs fixing more easily than what God has already done. Our worries become loud, while our thanksgiving becomes faint. begins by calling God’s people to give thanks. Why? Because the Lord is good, and his steadfast love endures forever. His love does not fade when life changes. It does not weaken when we struggle. God’s goodness is not seasonal; his mercy is steady. Then the psalmist says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.” God’s rescue is not meant to be hidden. Those who have been delivered should speak. Your story may not feel dramatic to you, but grace is always worth telling. Jesus is our ultimate Redeemer. He did not just save you from the enemy; he brought you into his family. The redemption you have received is a gift meant to be told. The same God who delivered Israel from Egypt has delivered you from the dominion of darkness through the cross of Christ. So do not let gratitude remain only a private thought. Speak of his goodness. Tell of his grace. Let your thanksgiving become a witness. For the God who has loved you with enduring love is worthy to be remembered, thanked, and praised.

Prayer

“Father, thank you for your goodness and steadfast love that never runs out. Help me remember the ways you have rescued, forgiven, provided, and restored me. Give me courage to speak of your grace with humility and joy. Let my life and my words point others to your faithful love.”
