THE ONLY CREDENTIAL NEEDED

It's easy to feel like you don't measure up. You sit in rooms where everyone seems more educated, more articulate, and you quietly shrink back. When spiritual conversations arise, you stay quiet because you lack a theology degree or a dramatic testimony. The fear of not being enough keeps your hands in your pockets and your voice locked away. But the religious leaders looked at Peter and John and saw something that stopped them. These men were uneducated and common. They had no formal training, no prestigious titles, and no social standing. Yet they spoke with a boldness that astonished the council. How could this be? The answer: they had been with Jesus. That was their only credential, and it was enough. The healed man standing beside them was living proof that ordinary people carrying the presence of God can accomplish what the experts cannot. God does not ask you to be brilliant; he asks you to be near. You do not need a degree to carry his presence. Proximity to Jesus is the only qualification that matters. When you spend time with him, people will recognize it not because you are impressive, but because you are changed. The boldness that silences a room comes from walking with him, not from studying the right books. The world is not waiting for another expert; it is waiting for someone who has actually been with Jesus. So do not spend all your energy trying to appear more capable. Spend time with Jesus. Let his word shape your reactions. Let his grace soften your relationships. Let his courage steady your voice. People may not be impressed by your credentials, but they can notice when Christ has been forming your life.
